Art Gaysel 4: Part One
I've found it quite therapeutic to speak freely about those close to me. Letting others know what they mean to me has always been a common gesture of mine. Also finding the appropriate phrases and analogies to thoroughly reflect my connection to others bring me joy because I’m able to match my feelings succinctly with my message. There’s just so much to be said about the amazing artists in my life.
No other living artist has inspired me the way you continue to do. Your presence properly chaperones the message in your work quite elegantly - love yourself wholeheartedly, and love one another purely. This elegance topped off with your southern cadence makes you irresistible and relatable - a true powerhouse. Your work ethic and commitment to your craft are evident in every piece, the same can very much be said about Adam as well, you both exude a positive yearning to be creative daily. I greatly appreciate that aspect of your works because it translates art-making into universal terms such as self-care/self-love. Please keep sharing your process to the world and reassuring your followers with light and love. Those little moments of human decency truly resonate inside people, including myself.
A year ago, just being associated with you made my life better, it's hard to describe but my first thought is its because your love is an aroma. I'm thinking of old cartoons where grandma would put her freshly baked pie on the windowsill and the scent would travel through the yard and forest and inescapably lure in everyone and everything. There's no other way to describe it. Currently, now having the absolute pleasure to call you a close friend, my life means more to myself because you exist in it. Seeing you thrive in your own life, doing what you love, loving who you love, and encouraging others to love and be loved is simply phenomenal. It's demanding and exhaustive, I'm sure, but how you carry yourself with a full heart of exaltation burns an unthinkable hellfire within me. I long to match your demeanor to further demonstrate to our community the true essence of acceptance. Such a glorious thought to turn into reality soon.
When I look at you, I want to protect you. I want to be selfish. I want you to be ok forever. I want your heart to smile every single day because that's what you do to everyone you meet - you make their hearts smile. And my sincerest condolences to those who will never experience such fulfillment. It's a forever-favorite-feeling that keeps me glued to you. You're the artist friend I've always wanted and I can't imagine my life without you. Thank you for your love, it's the home remedy everybody needs. Thank you for your work, it elevates representation of everyday beauty including curated moments of diverse body types and everyday living. Thank you for your life; just living in your truth and knowing who you are, shows in everything that you do. In every song reference, in every note change, in every paint stroke, in every movie quote, you are a special kind of light that I want to surround me, I want it to consume me, I want it to guide me to better myself. Please continue giving your heart to the world on a low boil, it's enticing on every level but I don't want you burning out.
All my love.
